Here are a few useful links to help you study Shakespeare's King Lear.

First, two links towards sites on Aristote's vision of tragedy and what happened to this genre after him.

An article by Ed Friedlander intitled Enjoying King Lear and another one by Coleridge.

Finally, a last site on King Lear.

Thank ye, John!! cheers
(don't know whether this is on the syllabus for the agrèg interne, but I do like Shakespeare!!)
Another website which could come in handy, for discussions about literature:
http://www.online-literature.com/forums/

I don't participate there (don't like forums where there are too many people!)but there's quite a lot of good stuff, and I suppose you can ask questions when there's somethingyou don't understand...
